The EASO COI report: Iraq – Key socio-economic indicators aims to provide information on key socio-economic indicators in Iraq focusing on Basrah, Erbil, and Baghdad, and highlighting aspects of the situation of IDPs in those areas, as well as women and children. Relevant indicators include the general economic situation, access to employment and livelihoods, poverty, food and water security, housing and living conditions, access to health care, access to education, access to support and assistance, and the role of support networks.

Le présent rapport a été réalisé avec l'aide du Fonds européen pour l'asile, la migration et l'intégration (FAMI). Il s’intéresse à la situation ethnique en république de Guinée, mettant à jour le précédent COI Focus daté du 3 avril 2020.
La recherche pour cette mise à jour a été clôturée le 9 mars 2023.
Le 5 septembre 2021, un coup d’Etat militaire a eu lieu par le Comité national du rassemblement et du développement (CNRD), avec à sa tête le colonel Mamadi Doumbouya. Alpha Condé, le président déchu, effectuait alors un troisième mandat contesté par l’opposition. Après avoir dissout le gouvernement, l’Assemblée et la Constitution, la junte au pouvoir a annoncé une période de transition, toujours en cours au moment de la clôture de ce COI Focus.

Deze COI Focus maakt een stand van zaken op van de veiligheidssituatie in Bagdad. Het onderzoek richt zich in het bijzonder op de periode van april tot einde oktober 2018, en is uitgevoerd tussen 5 en 12 november 2018. Dit document vervangt het vorige van 26 maart 2018, maar is slechts een beperkte actualisering ervan. De veiligheidssituatie in de Iraakse hoofdstad bleef door het uitblijven van grootschalige gebeurtenissen (met uitzondering van de nationale verkiezingen van mei 2018) in de laatste zes maanden grotendeels stabiel, de aanpassingen in dit document focussen op de wijzigingen van de veiligheidsrelevante patronen en indicatoren in Bagdad in de onderzoeksperiode.

Na een periode met een stabiel niveau van geweld in de hoofdstad en de daartoe behorende provincie tussen 2014 en 2016 – talrijke aanslagen met maandelijkse slachtofferaantallen van honderden doden en gewonden is er sinds de jaarwisseling van 2016 naar 2017 een duidelijke trend naar minder aanslagen en kleinere aantallen slachtoffers.
