Deze COI Focus beoogt een globaal beeld te geven van de veiligheidssituatie in Libanon. Het rapport bevat geen exhaustief overzicht van de veiligheidsincidenten die zich in Libanon hebben voorgedaan. De vermelde incidenten dienen voornamelijk om de algemene trend in Libanon of in een bepaalde Libanese regio te duiden.

Deze COI Focus is een update van de COI Focus Libanon - De veiligheidssituatie van 27 maart 2020. Het onderzoek heeft betrekking op de periode 1 april 2020 – eind december 2020.

In deze COI Focus bestudeert Cedoca de prevalentie van corruptie en documentenfraude in Afghanistan. Dit rapport is een update van de COI Focus Afghanistan. Corruptie en documentenfraude van 21 november 2017. Dit document beschrijft de nieuwe ontwikkelingen sinds januari 2018 en concentreert zich op de huidige situatie. Cedoca raadpleegde voornamelijk bronnen gedateerd van januari 2018 tot en met december 2020. Omwille van hun relevantie en voor een goed begrip van de context van corruptie en documentenfraude in Afghanistan, heeft Cedoca ook enkele oudere bronnen geconsulteerd en opgenomen.

Deze COI Focus geeft geen uitsluitsel over de authenticiteit van een specifiek document dat ter ondersteuning van een concreet verzoek om internationale bescherming is neergelegd.

Le présent document est une mise à jour du COI Focus daté du 9 janvier 2020 qui a pour titre Salvador. Retour au pays des ressortissants. Il s’intéresse à la situation des Salvadoriens rentrés au pays de façon volontaire ou sous la contrainte entre le 1er janvier 2015 et le 8 décembre 2020.

The report analyses the situation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and returnees in Syria.

This report provides information relevant for international protection status determination for Syrian applicants for international protection, and will be used in the development of a country guidance note on Syria.

The first draft of this report was finalised on 12 December 2019. Some additional information was added during the finalisation of this report in response to feedback received during the quality control process, until 12 March 2020. Any event taking place after this date is not included in this report.

The purpose of this report is to provide relevant information regarding the targeting of individuals in Syria, for international protection status determination, including refugee status and subsidiary protection, and in particular for use in EASO’s country guidance development on Syria.

The drafting of this report was finalised on 5 December 2019. Some additional information was added during the finalisation of this report in response to feedback received during the quality control process, until 30 January 2019. Any event taking place after this date is not included in this report.

The purpose of this report is to analyse the situation of women in Syria, focusing mainly on the general situation of women in the country while also paying special attention to area-specific features in those parts of Syria under the control of non-state armed groups, information relevant for international protection status determination, including refugee status and subsidiary protection, and in particular to inform the EASO country guidance development on Syria.

Some additional information was added during the finalisation of this report in response to feedback received during the quality control process, until 10 January 2020. This report concerns the Syrian territories, which have been outside the control of the Government of Syria (GoS) and returned to GoS control through so-called reconciliation agreements. It explores how these agreements were reached, their consequences for the population of the respective areas, as well as how GoS exerts its control in the aftermath. Not all areas/cities are included, but rather a selection that serves to illustrate the different developments.

The report covers the period from 2014 until October 2019. The drafting of this report was finalised on 1 October 2019. Some additional information was added during the finalisation of this report in response to feedback received during the quality control process until 28 October 2019.

The purpose of this report is to provide relevant information regarding the main actors in Syria for the assessment of international protection status determination, including refugee status and subsidiary protection, and in particular to inform the EASO country guidance development on Syria.

The information gathered is a result of research using public, specialised paper-based and electronic sources until 31 October 2019. Some additional information was added during the finalisation of this report in response to feedback received during the quality control process, until 29 November 2019. The report is based on information from UN reports, reports from human rights organisations, academic publications and news articles, that in different ways describe the actors in Syria.
