Le présent rapport fait le point sur l’état de la corruption en Guinée et donne un aperçu de la situation en matière de circulation de faux documents. Il met à jour le COI Focus du 25 septembre 2020 qui a pour titre Corruption et faux documents. Ce rapport a été réalisé avec l'aide du Fonds européen pour l'asile, la migration et l'intégration (FAMI).
La recherche pour cette mise à jour a été clôturée le 15 avril 2024.

Deze COI Focus maakt een stand van zaken op over de veiligheidssituatie in de regionale staat Oromia in Ethiopië.
Dit rapport bouwt verder op de gelijknamige COI Focus van 15 februari 2022. Anders dan voorgaande COI Focus gaat dit rapport niet in op de demografische context van de regio, ook gaat het niet uitgebreid in op de politieke ontwikkelingen in de periode volgend op het aantreden van premier Abiy Ahmed. Dit rapport beperkt zich tot de gewapende opstand van het Oromo Liberation Army (OLA), en focust daarbij op de periode vanaf het Cessation of Hositilities Agreement (CoHA) dat begin november 2022 een einde maakt aan de oorlog in Tigray tot februari 2024.
Het onderzoek werd afgesloten op 11 maart 2024.

Irak

De negen zuidelijke provincies van Irak zijn niet rechtstreeks verwikkeld geraakt in het offensief dat ISIS in juni 2014 inzette in Centraal-Irak, met uitzondering van het noorden van Babil, waar IS heeft geprobeerd om via de verkeerswegen ten westen en zuidwesten van Bagdad aanvalsroutes naar de hoofdstad te openen.

De provincie Bagdad staat formeel onder controle van de Iraakse regering en de veiligheidsdiensten van de regering, maar momenteel zijn de prominent aanwezige sjiitische milities een belangrijke machtsfactor. Deze milities staan ook mee in voor de veiligheidscontroles en de ordehandhaving in Bagdad, wat vooral bij de soennitische minderheid voor wantrouwen en vrees voor een herhaling van de burgeroorlog van 2006-2007 zorgt.

This report describes the situation of Afghan refugees in Iran. Afghans living in Iran can be broadly divided into four main groups: Amayesh cardholders, Afghan passport holders with Iranian visas, undocumented Afghan refugees and Afghans registered during headcount exercises. Sometimes the sources do not differentiate between the four categories. Where possible the situation for each main group is described. The main focus of this report lies on the Afghan refugees and not the Afghan passport holders with Iranian visa.
Split into five chapters, this report describes the presence of Afghan refugees in Iran, examines their legal status, their treatment by the Iranian society and the state, cross border movements and their socio-economic situation in the country.
The reference period for this report is 11 October 2020 until 21 October 2022.
