Ethiopië: De situatie van Tigrayanen in Addis Abeba

Deze COI Focus beschrijft de situatie van Tigrayanen in de Ethiopische hoofdstad Addis Abeba. Dit rapport is een update van de COI Focus Ethiopië. De situatie van Tigreërs in Addis Abeba van 23 juni 2023. Het behandelt de periode van mei 2023 tot mei 2024. Cedoca rondde het onderzoek af op 27 juni 2024.

Cedoca voerde een fact-findingmissie (FFM) uit naar Ethiopië van 14 tot 24 november 2023. Deze missie is ondernomen met de financiële steun van het Europese Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF).

Bangladesh: EUAA COI Report. Country Focus

The purpose of this report on Bangladesh is to provide relevant information in view of the assessment of international protection, including refugee status and subsidiary protection. This report intends to capture a selection of the main issues relevant to international protection in the assessment of claims from Bangladeshi nationals.

The reference period of this report is 1 January 2022–15 May 2024. Events taking place after the reference period have not been included.

This report is an update of the EASO COI report on Pakistan, Security Situation, October 2019. The reference period for the events described in this report is from 1 August 2019 until 31 July 2020.

The drafting of this report was finalised on 14 August 2020. Some additional information was added during the finalisation of this report in response to feedback received during the quality control process, until 18 September 2020.

This report was drafted by a COI specialist from the Belgian Centre for Documentation and Research (Cedoca) in the Office of the Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless Persons.

EASO COI Report. Situation of Afghan refugees

This report provides relevant information on the situation of registered and unregistered Afghan refugees in Pakistan.

The report provides a brief historical overview of Afghan migration to Pakistan, it describes the legal status of Afghans living in Pakistan and its impact on their ability to access education, employment, health services, housing, financial and communication services, legal aid. Further, the report provides information on the attitude of the Government of Pakistan as well as on the general attitude of Pakistan's population towards Afghan refugees.

The first draft of this report was finalised on 15 April 2020. Some additional information was added during the finalisation of this report in response to feedback received during the quality control process, until 6 May 2020.

EASO would like to acknowledge the Belgian Centre for Documentation and Research (Cedoca) in the Office of the Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless Persons, as the drafter of this report.

Situatie van seksuele minderheden
27 april 2020

Deze COI Focus is een update van de COI Focus Pakistan. Homoseksualiteit en andere seksuele minderheden van 16 augustus 2016. De huidige COI Focus behandelt de periode augustus 2016 tot en met 10 april 2020.

In het internationale discours over mensenrechten gebruikt men tegenwoordig de afkorting LGBT (lesbiennes, homoseksuelen, biseksuelen, transgenders) om te verwijzen naar seksuele minderheden. De afkorting kan ook slaan op instellingen, organisaties en individuen die de rechten van deze personen verdedigen. Hoewel de leden van verschillende seksuele minderheden in een bepaalde context een gelijkaardige druk kunnen ondervinden, bevinden ze zich niet noodzakelijk in dezelfde situatie. Seksuele geaardheid en genderidentiteit (mannelijk of vrouwelijk) zijn twee verschillende problematieken.

De term homoseksueel slaat zowel op mannen als op vrouwen. Naast homoseksuelen, kent Pakistan een uitgebreide gemeenschap van transgenders (hijra’s of khawaj seras).

Behandeling van terugkeerders door hun nationale autoriteiten
12 juni 2019

Dit rapport is een update van de COI Focus van 10 oktober 2016 met als titel Het risico bij terugkeer in geval van gedwongen verwijdering. Het huidige rapport beschrijft de houding van de Pakistaanse autoriteiten ten opzichte van hun onderdanen die naar hun land terugkeren nadat ze het land illegaal hebben verlaten en/of een verzoek om internationale bescherming in België hebben ingediend en/of er verbleven hebben. Er wordt niet nader ingegaan op de behandeling door de autoriteiten van terugkeerders met een politiek, etnisch, religieus of terroristisch profiel.

Dit rapport omvat de periode 1 januari 2018 tot en met 31 maart 2019.
