Het doel van dit onderzoek is een stand van zaken op te maken over de veiligheidssituatie in Ecuador. Deze COI Focus richt zich in het bijzonder op de periode januari 2022 tot november 2024. Het onderzoek werd afgesloten op 18 november 2024.

Door de recente ontwikkelingen in Syrië zijn de COI en de beleidsnota van het CGVS voor dit land mogelijk niet meer actueel.
Als gevolg van deze ontwikkelingen heeft het CGVS op 9 december 2024 besloten de behandeling van dossiers van verzoekers uit Syrië tijdelijk op te schorten. De beslissingen worden opgeschort, met uitzondering van de beslissingen voor personen met een beschermingsstatus in een andere EU-lidstaat.

Ce document présente des informations sur les possibilités de voyager depuis Bruxelles vers Bamako ainsi que sur les possibilités de déplacement pour rejoindre les régions du sud du Mali à partir de la capitale. Dans la dernière partie, il traite des retours de ressortissants maliens organisés par le gouvernement en 2023 et 2024. Pour élaborer ce COI Focus, le Cedoca s’est appuyé sur des informations publiques disponibles en novembre 2024. Le Cedoca a clôturé ses recherches le 26 novembre 2024. Ce rapport constitue une mise à jour du COI Focus du 26 avril 2024 portant le titre Mali. Possibilités de retour : liaisons aériennes vers Bamako.

Eritrea

The report is designed to deliver relevant information for international protection determination in Europe. The report is not meant to give a complete view of the current political or human rights situation in Eritrea.
Chapter 1 provides a brief overview about the developments in Eritrea’s foreign affairs, internal affairs, religious issues and legal framework since 2016, including the peace declaration with Ethiopia of 2018.
The subsequent three chapters provide a COI update on the topics relevant for international protection determination: national service, legal and illegal exit, and return. These chapters mostly describe the relevant legal framework governing the concerned issue, the government position on the issue (if available), followed by information from the used publications and by the interlocutors interviewed in Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Europe.
The drafting of this report was finalised in August 2019. Any event taking place after this date is not included in this report.

Deze COI Focus beschrijft de situatie van Tigrayanen in de Ethiopische hoofdstad Addis Abeba. Dit rapport is een update van de COI Focus Ethiopië. De situatie van Tigreërs in Addis Abeba van 23 juni 2023. Het behandelt de periode van mei 2023 tot mei 2024. Cedoca rondde het onderzoek af op 27 juni 2024.
Cedoca voerde een fact-findingmissie (FFM) uit naar Ethiopië van 14 tot 24 november 2023. Deze missie is ondernomen met de financiële steun van het Europese Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF).

Dit onderzoek verzamelt informatie over de situatie van seksuele minderheden in Ethiopië, in het bijzonder de situatie van homoseksuelen en lesbiennes. De verslagperiode overspant vijf jaar, van 1 januari 2019 tot 1 januari 2024. Cedoca heeft het onderzoek afgesloten op 1 mei 2024.

The purpose of this COI Focus is to assess the security situation in the Tigray region of Ethiopia. It is more particularly focused on the period between November 2022 – when the signing of the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement (CoHA) ended a two-year conflict in the region – and March 2024.
The research for this COI Focus was concluded on 6 May 2024. Important events in April and May 2024 have been included as far as possible.
Cedoca conducted a fact-finding mission (FFM) in Ethiopia from 14 to 24 November 2023. The FFM was carried out with the financial support of the European Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF).
